Rockin Rob’s is sad to announce that we will be permanently closing our dine-in, take out, and delivery services at 1532 E Racine Street at close of business on Thursday, October 29, 2026.

We will continue offering catering services.

This decision does not come lightly.

We opened Rockin Rob’s to bring amazing, fresh food to Janesville. We were incredibly lucky to be able to open in such a historic location at 1532 E Racine Street. As kids we raced to Dairy Queen here whenever we could. We are grateful we could bring life back to this property.

Over the past year and a half, we have met so many people, shared and listened to so many stories. We’ve given away free kids meals every Monday for the past year. We’ve offered free meals to students who wouldn’t otherwise have been able to eat with their friends. It has been an absolute delight and we are happy to have had those opportunities.

Unfortunately, the economic downturn over 2026 has made it impossible to continue. The rising cost of living has increased our food costs to unsustainable levels. It has also made the economic situation very difficult for our customers. As a brick and mortar store fully supporting ourselves, we’ve been fighting an uphill battle all year. With Winter right around the corner, we have to make the hard decisions.

A donation to Craig High School’s music department would also be incredible.
